      I am trying to obtain a full refund from Geraci Law as they did not initiated my case. They only initiate a case after a certain amount of money is reached since it is a payment plan. That amount is $1500, I have paid $750 so far. After trying to cancel, they came back and said that they have started on my case, which they have not. Ask them which services they have provided so far, only mentioned services done on the day of the free consultation, nothing else. Ask them to specify the services, they couldnt. Are they false advertising as well? Anyways, I am asking for a full refund.

      I have left a complaint about being treated aggressively and disrespectfully. My whole issue was about getting the run around about my refund check. I was told that my check would be mailed to me initially from the trustee office. Then I was told I could pick up my check from the local office and when I came up there I was told that my check was not there. I was given an appt to pick my refund check up today, 03/20 at 12pm. I called earlier to see if my husband would be able to get the check or if I could come in later because I have a meeting with my job. I was told that was fine and to come when I could.Fast forward, I was disrespected, discriminated against and yelled at, and asked to leave the premises when I was not confrontational at all. I was told from the individual that the remaining balance of ****** will be taken out of my refund check then sent to me. When I left, I received a text message stating that I can no longer come to that location. They will no longer represent me, and my balance with the firm has been written off. I am completely confused on what's happening with my debt. I have paid ***** paid to date. I am in the post-filing stage. I am unsure what my next steps are. I gave this individual no reason to be angry, belligerent, dismissive, irate, agitated, discriminative, or irritated with me. He did not want to address my concerns. He did not show any empathy about the continuous miscommunication. Everything was fine pre-filing but once I filed everyone became very irritated and rude. No one was on the same page about my check and in the end, I was punished for their incompetence. There was constant miscommunication on how I will receive my refund check. I was not told R** would not be in to receive my check. I did not disrespect or yell at the attorney for him to have ill intentions towards me. I need to know what's going on because I have paid fees from every angle and want to be able to finish this process and be done with this company!

      My name is *******************, and I recently filed a complaint against Geraci Law. I have not received a confirmation email from you guys to go back in and update that my issue with the remaining balance and my refund check has been resolved. 


      I spoke with ******, who informed me that my remaining balance is written off. I was able to retrieve my check because my husband had gone and got it. 


      I am still upset about how I was treated by the attorney, but I will file a grievance on that matter. 


      Will someone be able to email the confirmation email again or send me the link to the complaint?

      This transaction started in Oct 2022 and concluded 29JUN23. I paid over $1000 to file for Ch 13 relief after almost 300 messages I thought we had an understanding the next message I received was that my case was dismissed and he wished me luck. I had 2 different lawyers and the first was explained what was going on and how I was proceeding in my daily actions and at no point did she advise me not to do certain things that later were going to hurt my case. After explaining to both lawyers and they telling me that my case was black and white I said ok to a different amount of pay back to my creditors I went from paying $375 to accepting to pay $750 and knowing that my budget was not going to accepted, I asked them to help me adjust it to what would be acceptable to the trustee and after expressing that to ********* she agreed and I didnt here from them anymore until **** messaged me saying that my case was dismissed because the trustee didnt accept my budget. I then contacted the office to speak to a supervisor and waited for 2 days and after insisting they called me back and after 35 min he said that he could not waive the starting fee to refile my case and that he would not take my case anymore and he wished me good luck and hung up. I still wanted to work with them because they are one of the best but this time they came short

      Not fair. Shortly after we filed your case your household income went up over $60,000 and you did not want to increase your dividend to creditors so the Bankruptcy Trustee objected. If you want to refile, and apologize, we can get you a no-interest repayment plan, that's the good news!  But you have to promise to be nice. I can't believe our attorneys put up with 300 messages, they were very nice to you.

      I am rejecting this response because: my income did not go up $60,000, it went up $37,000 and I was willing to go up on the payment but one attorney said I would pay $375 a month and after my wife started working they wanted me to pay $1000-$1500 and there was no way I could pay that. Both attorneys gave me different advice and in the end I followed the first attorneys advice and decided to file. I filed after multiple messages to make sure I was doing the right thing for myself and my family. Second attorney then advised me differently and by then I had already filed and ruined my credit. After the 300 messages I sincerely believed that we were on the same page and after almost 2 week of hearing nothing from either attorney they messaged me that my case was dismissed. Again second attorney **** said he knew the trustee would not go for a low amount but I went from $375 to $750 and he did not say that wouldnt be enough. If he simply would have advised me that I needed a higher amount then we could have discussed it but he only said she would probably accept $1000-$1500. Again after almost ************************************************************** trying to get the lowest payment possible and still pay my bill, and have money to not default on my mortgage and car payments etc.They gave up on me and did not help me as they said and advertise they would. And after all that I called because they advertise if your not satisfied then call to talk to a supervisor well I had to call multiple times and after 2 days of waiting they finally called back, and after speaking with the supervisor for over 35 minutes pleading my case he decided that I was a liar and he would not be working with me and proceed to hang up. I was willing to continue to pay them and hoping since they are the most experienced in this field that they could get me a better outcome but they decided to leave me with a Chapter 13 on my wifes and my credit report and no resolution.

      On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, I had a free consultation with an attorney to discuss filing a Bankruptcy with Geraci Law in ******. Toward the end of the meeting, I specifically told the attorney that I had not made my mind up yet and that I was unsure I could afford the monthly payments he was pushing me into for the Bankruptcy. He insisted I had to file a Chapter 13. He was very pushy and wanted me to file the Chapter 13 with monthly payments of $975 for 5 years, without creating a monthly budget, etc. He took my debit card information and told me he would charge $330 on March 31, to cover the filing fees. Before signing the last paper, I told the attorney that I could not afford the $975 monthly payments for 5 years! I told him I had to go home and run the numbers through my budget and I would get back to him. He insisted the $975 was cheaper than my monthly credit card payments and my utilities (budget) could not possibly be greater than that. I told him I would sell my house before I would file a Chapter 13 with payments I could not afford. He yelled to his secretary to "shred all the paperwork that I had signed". I told him to hold off and I would get back to him. He assured me he would shred the paperwork. I received a text and email today (3/13/2023) from Geraci Law stating my mortgage company has sent them statements. I responded to the text and email stating I was not hiring Geraci Law and have no idea why they are contacting my mortgage company. I called the firm 4 times. As soon as the receptionist realized who I was, she put me on hold for 5 minutes. I called back 3 more times and they would not answer the phone or return my call. They will not respond to my emails either. I specifically told them on the phone and in email that I am not hiring them! I want ALL of my personal information deleted from their database. I do NOT, nor have I ever authorized them to withdraw money and I am NOT hiring them to represent me.

      I tried to file for bankruptcy chapter 13. I wanted a chapter 7. I was pushed and finagled because they lied to me because I had no other other option. I waited on the phone 20 minutes. I keep doing this again and again and there is no resolution for this.

      We filed chapter 13 back in 2017 with Peter Francis Geraci located in ********* **. At that time we were told our case would take 60 months and that at that time our plan payment would increase a couple of times, which it did. Well our 60 months is up and when asked what the next steps were i was told that November 2020 they modified plan and it extended another 29 monthsfromthay point. We were not informed of this and have no idea why they modified plan in 2020. I feel they are being decietful and should go with our contract that says 60 months. Otherwise it feels like they will contimue to push it back for no reason.can they do this what can we do.
