      I am being harassed multiple times a day for a few months now. ************. I have NEVER asked or provided my number to them or any other entity for any repairs. I have blocked and reported as spam repeatedly. Even replied STOP to the text messages that they are now also sending me for services I dont need. It is absolute insanity that this is legal. Please help because this is absurd!

      I've been receiving multiple calls a day since January. I've asked to be removed from the call list before (weeks ago) and they still call relentless. I have never given them my number but they insist I did. I've asked again today to be removed from the call list. I've blocked their number but they keep calling from new phone numbers.

      This company has been calling me nonstop. I have not gone onto their website and requested any contracting information as I live in an apartment and that literally wouldn't work. I work night shift and they call during the day while I am sleeping. multiple times in a row. I have blocked them at least twice now.

      Awoke at around 7:30am to 3 back to back calls. No voicemails. I have never contacted this company in my life. Nobody in my household has even heard of this company. I would never ever want to do business with a company that does such invasive solicitation this way, so Im not certain what the point of this model of business is.Im seeing that others have reported this problem as well. Honestly, placing customers on the Do Not Call list is not enough. The customer engagement model is based off one of annoyance and harassment and needs to be changed. If you are truly trying to contact people who have reached out to you. One call and one voicemail should be sufficient.

      I find the instruction: "Please notify any contractors who contact you" very problematic and also very revealing of a faulty customer communication model. Asking individuals to respond to calls that they never initiated, and to interact with with a company that they do not want to interact with feels like you as a company are passing off your responsibility to people who aren't even your customers. Since my first post, I have gotten ********************************************** connection with your company. I, like many people, do not answer the phone when I do not recognize the number calling. Asking people to answer unknown callers puts their security at risk.  

      My issue has not been resolved because I am still receiving calls. I received a call while I was typing this reply in fact. 

      Your future potential customers should be well aware if this is your model of communication because it implies a deep lack of respect for the privacy and security of your customers (and even people who are not your customers).

      We are researching your concern and want to assist. We receive contact information from consumers when they complete a form on our website, or affiliate websites, asking for help matching with home improvement contractors. Someone provided your contact information and confirmed that we and up to four contractors could call, email, or text to discuss completing a home improvement project at your location. We regret that we received your information in error and can work to determine which contractors matched with you, but that *** take several days. We suggested that you notify callers that you would like to be placed on their do not call list because that *** be the fastest way to resolve your issue. We are developing internal processes to address concerns such as yours more efficiently, but it will take time for testing and deployment. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

      Not a customer but the first call I received, they asked for "*******". Told them it was the wrong number. They started calling from other numbers. I answered again and told them again it was the wrong number. They proceeded to call at least 15 times over the last 24 hours. I block every number they call from, and they just use a different number to call again. After I told them twice, from 2 different numbers, that the person they were asking for wasn't at this number, my number should have been removed. This is starting to feel like harassment.

      It sounds like someone named "*******" mistyped her phone number when asking to match with a contractor.       Have never signed up for anything related to Modernize. Have zero need for home repairs or home contractors, yet, I've received multiple calls from this company over and over. I have read that there was already a class action ** 2019 against this company for the same thing and yet, they continue with unsolicited phone calls repeatedly one after another. Looks like they're in for another one.

      Someone using this phone number placed a request to match with a contractor and we regret that unnecessary calls were placed. We are adding this consumer to our do not call list today and recommend that they notify any contractors who contact them that they would like to be on the contractor's do not call list as well.

      I am rejecting this response because: no one from this number requested to be matched with a contractor. I have no reason in the world for a contractor whatsoever. So, either someone signed me up without me knowing for no reason at all or my information was bought and sold. Whatever the reason, 6 phone calls back-to-back in one day is total harassment.
