            We engaged with Aqualuxe Pools aka ********** Living Group with **** and ****** English 14 months ago at the referral of our neighbors posting in this thread. Yes we signed the contract in May of 2020. After blaming *****, the city of Lakeway, ******, us, their subcontractors, and just about anything and everything other than their own responsibility, accountability, honesty, and integrity we have been at a complete stand still with this company for months. Literally over 2 months since they touched one thing on this pool. And since Christmas the only thing they've done is lay tile and coping..... and deliver some, but not all, of the equipment we paid for in January despite telling us repeatedly it was "in". Then we were told we'd have it all in April. Then a single piece of equipment was on backorder. Then later with an attorney engaged, 2 pieces are on backorder and here at the end of June we still don't have it all. We've been forced to engage an attorney. They aren't even following through on commitments for actions according to their attorney letters to us. We have 100's (literally) of emails, receipts, and communications that highlight clear discrepancies between what they say and reality. We chose a color before signing the contract and spelled out clearly what we wanted and the owner stated in writing that it was included, no extra charge, don't worry etc. Then she said it wasn't available but we found that the color actually was available. Then she said she had no idea our color was extra, she didn't control pricing, and wants an increase of $3500 for the color. We asked in writing BEFORE we ever signed the contract if our color was included in the contract and she said yes.We're supposed to have an autofill per our contract and plans they submitted to the city but the plumbing wasn't placed in the gunite. The plumbing size in our spa is smaller than other, more experienced industry experts, and even the equipment manufacturer recommendations. They poured the equipment pad on rocks we had for personal use which have already collapsed leaving an overhang and their response is they'll only fix it if the city inspector tells them too. We have hollow spots in our gunite. I had to lend their guys a wet saw to cut the tiles for our pool (after the owner said glass tiles can't be cut) and then their workers installed them backwards with the sharp side out. It all needs to be torn out. The city has placed a stop work order on the property since this pool builder refuses to pick up debris that has existed for over 6 months. We have been told it will cost $10's of thousands of dollars to fix their errors. Suggest anyone considering this company do thorough research on current and old lawsuits existing for these people and make an informed decision for yourself.Progress- Some 24-Jun 2021 After 6+ months, numerous emails, 2 commitments to resolve followed by a no show, 2 attorneys, 4 attorney letters, and a city issued ***************: Chad, ******, and their project manager ***** ******** finally completed the roughly 4 hours of work required to remove the nail riddled boards and dump truck load of gunite that have been in my yard since early December 2020.There were no representatives from Aqualux present and so the crew was asking me questions as to the scope of their work.They are now stating the work will be held up pending a re-submission of paperwork to reflect equipment changed that we made and they accepted in early April. Their acknowledgement of this change is noted in the form of cashing a check for nearly $9k. As of yesterday, apparently they still had not taken the time to update their paperwork with the city for this 2.5 month old change.
