My home warranty hired this plumber to come and fix an issue on 11/29/22. The issue was that there was water under the kitchen sink causing damage to the wood under the sink I noted that there was water coming out from around the facet and dripping down the line to the bottom. The tech arrived and I explained where I had seen water and where it was coming from and that I believed it to be an issue with the faucet. The tech did not see water coming out due to me turning the water off to the sink to try and prevent further damage. The tech ignored what I said and said that he felt a leak from the pea-trap. I assume that the water from the pea trap was actually water dripping down the line from the faucet and getting that pipe wet as I had recently had the pea-trap replaced.The tech could not get the pea trap to leak when he ran water through the line but insisted that was the issue. I regretfully agreed that if that is what he truly believed to be the issue that it should be fixed there and let go of the fact that I had seen water leaking from the faucet. I also informed him that since I closed the valves to the sink the leak had stopped which should inform that the issue was the faucet. He slapped some thread glue on the joints on the pea-trap and left. I woke up to water all over my kitchen floor again. I called the company back and they said they would come out to fix the faucet following the first "repair" the tech rescheduled with me more than 5 times. I was then informed, after all the rescheduling, that I needed to resubmit my issue through the home warranty company. I did this the office messaged me claiming that the tech had not told the company about the issue reappearing and that she was "irritated" as she had been kept out of the loop. I am out of characters but they repaired it correctly and then told the warranty company that it was two separate issues costing the home warranty company and forcing me to pay for another service fee.
